Join Sephora's dynamic team as a Senior Engineer, eCommerce, in a remote role based in the United States. Contribute to innovative enterprise solutions within the beauty retail industry.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and develop large-scale enterprise solutions for the eCommerce platform using Java microservices and front-end applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key design decisions and ensure the development of application components.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and evaluate new technologies for application suitability.
  • Ensure platform components are designed for reliability and scalability, with a clear separation of concerns.
  • Participate in load and performance testing, and define logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team engineers, promoting best practices in microservices implementation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the eCommerce application stack.
  • Influence decisions, build consensus, and resolve conflicts constructively.
  • Uphold company policies, procedures, and values, demonstrating Sephora's core values in daily work.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in developing enterprise solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot frameworks.
  • Experience in designing and managing Java microservices and RESTful APIs in eCommerce applications.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based application design using microservices architecture, preferably on MS Azure.
  • Experience in building native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, and Xcode.

Experience

A minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in developing and delivering enterprise solutions, with a focus on eCommerce or client services applications.

The successful candidate will be located in Remote, Remote, USA.

Compensation

The annual base salary range is $132,210.00 - $163,200.00, with eligibility for bonuses.
