Join Parfums Christian Dior in Mexico City as a Retail Manager - Travel Retail. Oversee business development and drive retail teams in Mexico and the Caribbean.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve objectives through strategic management of points of sale (POS).
- Monitor commercial activity against key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Tailor retail strategies for each airport location based on performance, targets, and local challenges.
- Implement retail strategies and update Top Door Plans regularly.
- Set team targets to motivate and align with brand ambitions.
- Manage profit and loss (P&L), ensuring profitability and return on investment (ROI).
- Uphold brand image and execute product launches comprehensively.
- Report sales and results to management using PBI & Simplifield dashboards.
- Lead, coach, and motivate Airport Managers and Beauty Consultants, providing clear vision, objectives, and best practices.
- Develop skills and capabilities through performance reviews and training.
- Build succession plans for long-term team growth.
- Oversee recruitment and talent retention.
- Ensure optimal staffing levels within budget and business needs.
- Conduct field visits, coaching, and appraisals for Beauty Consultants.
- Manage freelance coverage, planning, and budget.
- Collaborate with Area Manager to plan and manage field coach visits.
- Guarantee an outstanding client experience across all POS.
- Drive and support the implementation of retail digital tools.
- Analyze key client experience indicators.
- Ensure operational excellence in POS and act as the key liaison between HQ and the field.
- Serve as the primary reference for Airport Managers regarding boutique and department store operations.
- Maintain efficient communication with Mexico Subsidiary teams and Dior TR HQ Miami.
- Lead POS openings and related processes.
- Identify, consolidate, and report operational needs/issues and facilitate their resolution.
- Coordinate with Area Manager and Avolta teams for efficient order tracking and stock processing.
- Implement visual merchandising (VM) guidelines and collaborate closely on all VM topics.
- Supervise and execute promotional activities defined by marketing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Avolta teams across Mexico and the Caribbean.
- Foster collaboration with local Avolta operations on team management, stock/tester flows, goal alignment, and event preparation.
- Identify opportunities for management to negotiate with retailers or landlords.
- Acculturate Avolta operations to PCD's values, vision, and ambition.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience in a retail environment.
