Jimmy Choo Stock Controller (part-time) in Chiusa Ferranda, Italy. Responsible for boutique inventory, SAP processes and stockroom management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage all stock-control activities within the boutique, ensuring stock records accurately reflect on‑hand inventory.
  • Receive and check deliveries against documentation; report and resolve discrepancies with store management and Head Office Stock Control.
  • Coordinate and follow up on stock transfers (inbound and outbound) and reconcile unverified transfers and negative stock reports.
  • Perform cycle counts, full stocktakes and reconciliation as required and participate in company-wide stock audits.
  • Process, record and dispatch faulty or returned stock in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain an organised, clean and secure stockroom; plan stockroom operations around peak trading hours to meet customer demand.
  • Communicate delivery schedules and stock issues proactively to the store team and Head Office; propose practical solutions.
  • Support store events and take responsibility for adherence to operational and quality standards within the stockroom.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Stock Controller or in inventory control for a recognised retail brand.
  • Previous experience in luxury retail is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP strongly desired.
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
  • High level of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities, adapt to change and maintain operational standards under pressure.
  • Physically capable of manual handling and stock movement.

Experience

Demonstrable retail inventory-control experience with a recognised brand; prior work in luxury retail and exposure to SAP-led stock processes is highly desirable.
