Must-know Jimmy Choo Facts

All applicants ought to know these basics about Jimmy Choo before applying or interviewing for any role.

Jimmy Choo was founded in London in 1996, combining red-carpet glamour with a sharp accessories business that has grown far beyond its original made-to-order shoe roots.
The brand became a defining name of late-1990s and 2000s celebrity culture, giving employees the chance to work for a house with unusually strong visibility in entertainment, fashion media, and event dressing.
Since 2017, Jimmy Choo has been part of Capri Holdings, placing it alongside Michael Kors in a group focused on global luxury scale and accessories expertise.
For job seekers, Jimmy Choo is especially attractive if you want exposure to both creative image-building and commercially driven categories such as footwear, handbags, bridal, and fragrance.
Its reputation was built on high-octane evening shoes, but the business now spans sneakers, soft accessories, and menswear, which can create broader career paths across design, merchandising, retail, and brand marketing.
Jimmy Choo’s blend of British fashion identity and international luxury distribution means careers there often sit at the intersection of editorial style, product innovation, and fast-moving global retail execution.
