Senior Finance Analyst position at DFS in Hong Kong, providing strategic financial support and analysis for the Oceania and Middle East regions.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic finance support to senior leadership, acting as a business partner with senior management.
  • Standardize and streamline key financial reporting and analysis for the Oceania and Middle East regions.
  • Improve business insights to drive performance and facilitate sound decision-making.
  • Set financial goals for store management to enhance profitability, including sales KPIs and expense management.
  • Anticipate and proactively support decision-making with analysis and recommendations.
  • Understand financial KPIs and support sales forecasts, budgets, and strategic planning.
  • Manage month-end close processes and reporting to stakeholders.
  • Analyze variances versus budget/forecast and implement action plans to achieve financial targets.
  • Execute budget/forecast planning and present targets aligned with global strategies.
  • Streamline financial processes and standardize best practices through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Support business development projects with financial analysis and scenario simulations.
  • Develop and coach team members, promoting knowledge sharing and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

  • College or University Degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Over 5 years of progressive financial and operational experience.
  • Experience in store operations in a significant financial or control position is advantageous.

Skills

Strong budgeting and operations analysis skills. Proficiency in business case analysis of capital expenditure. Excellent planning and strategic thinking abilities.

Experience

Over 5 years of progressive financial and operational experience, preferably with prior store operations experience in a significant financial or control position.

Education

College or University Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
