Chopard in Birkenfeld, Germany, seeks a Watchmaker Apprentice for 2026. Join a renowned luxury brand and learn the art of watchmaking in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Learn the construction and functioning of various types of watches, including pendulum clocks, quartz watches, and chronographs.
  • Engage in practical exercises on specific components, such as gear trains.
  • Acquire fundamental knowledge of metalworking and materials science.
  • Manufacture high-precision small and specialized tools for crafting watch parts from precious metals.
  • Assemble individual components into complete watches.
  • Participate in the daily operations of the European service center, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electronic watches.
  • Disassemble watches to diagnose and repair faults, then reassemble and adjust them.

Qualifications

  • Successful completion of at least a Hauptschule (secondary school) diploma.

Experience

No prior experience required, but school certificates and any internship documentation should be included with the application.

Education

Completion of secondary education (Hauptschule or equivalent).
