Role & Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring compliance with schedules and procedures.
- Verify the conformity of goods, including quantities, quality, and temperature checks.
- Report any discrepancies or non-conformities to the relevant department and manage supplier disputes.
- Record delivery notes and reconcile them with orders in management software.
- Register received goods in the digital traceability system and ensure proper labeling.
- Update stock levels in real-time and ensure product traceability according to standards.
- Organize goods according to conservation and safety standards in designated areas.
- Ensure stock rotation using the FIFO method and distribute goods to relevant departments.
- Manage shipments and returns to external storage and conduct inventory of stored goods.
- Handle delivery notes, transfer orders, invoices, and reconciliations.
- Track orders, schedule deliveries, and prepare purchase requests.
- Address discrepancies with suppliers and internal services.
- Maintain professional relationships with suppliers to uphold the establishment's brand image.
- Apply HACCP procedures and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
- Participate in periodic inventories and propose stock management improvements.
- Report any abnormal situations regarding safety or accident risks.
Qualifications
- Experience in goods reception and stock management, preferably in hospitality, catering, or logistics.
- Proficiency in computer tools and stock management software.
- Knowledge of HACCP standards and food traceability.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is required.
