Saint Laurent seeks a Pattern Maker in Angers, France. Join a leading luxury fashion brand under Kering Group, focusing on pattern creation and technical product development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Select technical solutions for pattern adjustments in alignment with quality standards and artistic direction.
  • Create patterns using Modaris or flat pattern methods, including digitalization, industrialization, and grading with CAD/CAO.
  • Develop technical product dossiers.
  • Adapt base patterns for various materials.
  • Oversee the creation of countertypes/prototypes in-house and with subcontractors, making necessary pattern adjustments.
  • Ensure pattern quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with workshops, purchasing departments, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain and update digital files, archiving patterns as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Proficiency in Lectra Modaris (Expert V8), Illustrator, and PLM software. Competency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong teamwork capabilities. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal communication skills.

Experience

A minimum of 2 to 3 years in a similar position within the fashion industry.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or equivalent.

The successful candidate will be located in Angers, Pays de la Loire, France.
