Join Van Cleef & Arpels in Lyon as a Methods Engineering Intern. Immerse yourself in the luxury jewelry industry and gain hands-on experience in technical documentation and process integration.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Methods and Processes department under the guidance of the Product Methods Engineer.
  • Support the Methods team and Workshop Manager in managing technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with jewelers, polishers, setters, and founders to ensure compliance of technical files.
  • Challenge and formalize product ranges manufactured in the workshop according to the brand's templates.
  • Contribute to the standardization of daily management routines and tools.
  • Participate in the integration of new manufacturing processes within the workshop.
  • Work on finalizing work documents for polishing and setting operations.
  • Occasionally engage in Atelier/Maison projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering program or related field.
  • Interest in craftsmanship and jewelry-making processes.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Solidworks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage priorities effectively. Curiosity and pedagogical aptitude.

Experience

No prior professional experience required, but a keen interest in the luxury jewelry industry is essential.

Education

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
