Join Tiffany & Co. in New York as an Interior Designer. This role involves managing store design processes and maintaining brand image in luxury markets. Ideal for candidates with 6+ years of experience in high-end interiors.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist the store design process from concept to opening for a 3+ month period.
  • Maintain brand image for projects in local and international markets.
  • Collaborate with Store Interiors Management to define furniture, fabrics, lighting, and materials.
  • Develop and present initial concept designs and mood boards.
  • Communicate with international distributors and cross-functional departments.
  • Research interior trends in retail and residential fields.
  • Oversee specifications and production of domestic and international finishes.
  • Review shop drawings for design compliance and sample submittals.
  • Partner with project architect to create presentations for senior management.
  • Draw custom furniture, design elevations, patterns, carpets, and floor plans in AutoCAD.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members.
  • Initiate market research for sourcing new and existing interior design products.
  • Create a positive and collaborative culture among designers.
  • Provide guidance to ensure engagement and accountability.
  • Align individual goals with overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in luxury high-end interiors, residential or retail.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with the ability to produce plans and elevations to scale.
  • Knowledge of units and measures for site-specific requirements.
  • 2D and 3D software skills.
  • Experience in InDesign and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel.

Proficiency in AutoCAD. Strong 2D and 3D design skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to lead and mentor junior team members. Market research and vendor sourcing skills. Presentation and design compliance review skills.

Experience

A minimum of 6 years of experience in luxury high-end interiors, either residential or retail, is required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.

Compensation

The target rate of pay for this position is $45-50 per hour, dependent upon the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
