Join Tiffany & Co. in New York as a Fine Jewelry Polisher. This role involves meticulous finishing and cleaning of luxury items, requiring expertise in metal finishing and jewelry repair.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform finishing and cleaning of jewelry, watches, flatware, hollowware, and fancy goods to Tiffany & Co. standards.
  • Utilize techniques such as buffing, lapping, thrumming, satin finishing, sandblasting, hand polishing, ultrasonic and steam cleaning, and rhodium plating.
  • Inspect and repair assigned orders, ensuring adherence to quality and design standards.
  • Maintain organized workflow and accurate logs of all assigned orders.
  • Develop and apply deep product knowledge and new skills for quality and productivity improvements.
  • Comply with health and safety requirements, maintaining a safe workstation.
  • Assist with service center support, including workflow management and special projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a production or repair polisher, jeweler, or silversmith
  • Successful completion of a Tiffany & Co. polishing bench test
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, holidays, and weekends

Skills

Expertise in metal finishing techniques Knowledge of jewelry materials and gemstone identification Strong organizational skills Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively Proficiency in operating technical equipment

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in a related field, with a focus on metal finishing and jewelry repair.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Compensation

The hiring range for this position is $19 - $34 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
