Role & Responsibilities
- Polish all precious metal jewelry pieces to meet Tiffany & Co.'s production and quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and promptly report any incidents or safety concerns.
- Execute all steps of the polishing process using various tools to achieve company quality standards within designated production times.
- Perform brushing, felting, split-lap, flexible shaft, 3-M, Grind & Prep, laser welding, stoning, and dry wheel techniques.
- Verify work order accuracy and escalate any discrepancies or concerns.
- Maintain attention to detail and focus on quality while polishing intricate pieces, ensuring minimal inventory failure.
- Collaborate with Polisher III to resolve issues and utilize tools effectively to meet quality standards and minimize scrap.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in polishing precious metal jewelry pieces.
- Proficiency in using appropriate tools and compounds for polishing.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Proficiency in English communication and comprehension.
- Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 3 years of experience in polishing precious metal jewelry pieces is required.
