Role & Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and counsel on employee relations matters, including policy interpretation, internal investigations, and performance management.
- Ensure employment practices are legally compliant and align with company standards across all EMEA locations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislative trends and provide guidance to markets accordingly.
- Review and advise on disciplinary documentation and employee consultation processes.
- Collaborate with external counsel to ensure compliance with local legislation.
- Lead complex investigations to minimize legal risk and ensure fair resolution of ER issues.
- Develop and implement policies and practices to meet organizational needs.
- Create and manage employee training programs to enhance ER acumen.
- Utilize metrics and data to identify trends and develop proactive strategies for risk management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience in International HR, Employee Relations, or Employment Law.
- Strong knowledge of EMEA employment and labor laws and regulations.
- Proven project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work proactively.
- Exceptional judgment and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Leadership capability with excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in French and English.
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 10 years in International HR, Employee Relations, or Employment Law, with a strong understanding of EMEA region laws and regulations.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Paris, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
