Join Tiffany & Co. in New York as the Director of Operations, Diamond and Gemstone. Oversee operations and drive efficiency in the luxury jewelry industry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the Serialized & Melee Diamond and Gemstone Operational Departments, including the Lab Tech Department, within the Tiffany Gemological Lab and Gemstone Acquisition.
- Ensure accurate and efficient receipt, processing, inventory management, and supply of all diamonds and gemstones.
- Lead in-depth inventory analysis to develop and execute plans for stone movement.
- Implement operational IT initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
- Collaborate with Global Grading Labs to improve process effectiveness.
- Oversee operational personnel, budget, and value-added services.
- Drive staff performance through clear expectations and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley reporting and audit-driven initiatives.
- Develop and track KPIs and manage operational organizational structure.
- Promote safety leadership and adherence to corporate policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum 10 years of managerial experience and employee development
- Excellent computer skills, including J.D. Edwards and MS Office
- Creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to think strategically and independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Compliance with company policies and procedures
- Willingness to travel
Skills
Experience
A minimum of 10 years in managerial roles with a focus on operations and employee development. Experience in the luxury jewelry industry and familiarity with stone and process flow is preferred.

Compensation
The hiring range for this position is $165,495.00 to $215,000.00, depending on the candidate's relevant skills and experience.
