Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and document next-generation software solutions for major sporting events such as the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, and World Cups.
  • Ensure the highest quality and reliability of produced software.
  • Manage high-level specifications and best practices for the development team.
  • Mentor and coach developers, fostering skill enhancement and acting as a technical leader.
  • Ensure engineering maturity and quality control within the team.
  • Lead and promote a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, encouraging innovative and high-risk experimentation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a professional software developer.
  • Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Resilience and ability to operate in dynamic and sometimes stressful environments.
  • Structured, systematic, and organized approach to work, with the ability to prioritize according to deadlines.
  • Optimistic, motivating, and visionary mindset, with availability for international travel.

Skills

Proven experience in developing web applications with .NET/C# backend deployed in Docker or AKS. Knowledge of frontend technologies is advantageous. Experience with automated testing and deployments. Good understanding of Agile principles, including XP, Scrum, and Kanban. Strong communication skills in English.

Experience

A minimum of five years as a professional software developer, with a focus on web applications and backend development.

Education

Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
