Join Swatch Group in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland as a Trademark and Design Specialist. Manage portfolios and advise on protection strategies in a leading Swiss watchmaking company.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the trademark and design portfolios of Swatch Group companies.
  • Advise Group companies on the protection of their trademarks and designs.
  • File, renew, and analyze trademark and design portfolios.
  • Conduct availability searches and monitor newly filed trademarks and designs.
  • Handle and manage evidence of trademark usage.
  • Address disputes, collaborating with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Track various procedures and deadlines.
  • Provide instructions to external lawyers.
  • Report to management.
  • Perform various administrative tasks related to portfolio management.

Qualifications

  • Legal expert or specialist in trademark and design law.
  • Several years of experience in trademark and design protection, preferably in an international environment.

Skills

Native proficiency in French or German with excellent knowledge of the other language. Strong command of English, both written and spoken. Team spirit, loyalty, availability, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility. Precision, autonomy, responsiveness, and analytical skills.

Experience

Several years of experience in trademark and design protection, preferably in an international environment.

Education

Legal degree or specialization in trademark and design law.
