Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to ensure the acquisition of top talent.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program to ensure competitive compensation.
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Head of HR or similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.

Skills

Excellent leadership and management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

This position is based in Richmond, Victoria, Australia, within easy reach of Melbourne.
