Sephora in Edmonton, Canada, seeks a Talent and Business Operations Manager to lead store operations and talent management. Join a diverse and inclusive team within the LVMH family.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct final interviews for key store positions and utilize the online applicant tracking system for sourcing and hiring.
  • Manage all training-related functions within the store, developing and executing ongoing training strategies.
  • Oversee weekly schedule creation, approve time-off requests, and manage the payroll process to ensure timely and accurate payment.
  • Write and deliver annual performance reviews and manage performance assessment processes.
  • Ensure operational excellence by overseeing store operations, inventory management, and adherence to company standards.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit by understanding sales performance, staffing, payroll, and controllable expenses.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry.
  • Experience in recruiting, staffing, and hiring across all store positions, including leadership roles.
  • Proven ability to create high-performing teams and develop in-store talent.
  • Strong managerial courage and ability to maintain composure during challenging situations.

Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to influence business partners at all levels. Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Excel.

Experience

2-4 years of management experience in the beauty, retail, or customer service industry.
