Sephora is hiring a Store Manager in Los Angeles (Beverly Center). Lead store operations, teams and client experience. $93,800–$114,850/year.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all daily store operations to deliver a seamless, elevated client experience while meeting sales and profitability targets in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Lead, coach and develop a diverse store team through recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, and ongoing mentorship to foster engagement and growth.
  • Drive operational excellence including merchandising standards, visual presentation, inventory optimization and adherence to policies, procedures and brand guidelines.
  • Maximize client retention and acquisition through personalized clienteling, loyalty-program engagement and high-touch service recovery.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling and resource allocation to optimize productivity and adapt to shifting business priorities and seasonal demand.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of progressive retail or hospitality experience with demonstrated success in store leadership in a high-volume, complex environment.
  • Proven ability to set strategic direction, drive store results and execute business plans to achieve ambitious targets.
  • Strong leadership and people-development track record including recruitment, coaching, performance management and talent succession.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels, resolve conflict, and maintain alignment with senior leadership.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform prolonged standing/walking on the sales floor.

Experience

At least five years of experience in retail or hospitality with prior responsibility for managing a high-volume store or comparable operation, including P&L accountability and leading multi-disciplinary teams.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management or a related field preferred.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 93,800 to USD 114,850 per annum.
