Sephora seeks a Senior Legal Counsel - New Technologies in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, to manage digital and e-commerce legal matters. Join a dynamic team at the forefront of beauty innovation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess legal risks for digital projects led by EME and Global Digital teams.
- Negotiate and draft IT contracts, including licensing, software, and data protection clauses.
- Advise business teams on consumer law and online payment tools.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of online sales processes.
- Draft and review standard contractual documents, such as terms and conditions.
- Coordinate with local legal teams to implement digital projects and standardize documentation.
- Act as a liaison for EME and Global Digital teams.
- Support IT and digital teams with site launches and omnichannel strategies.
- Onboard new team members and provide legal training to digital teams.
- Co-lead presentations on legal risks for the EME Digital Executive Committee.
- Participate in GDPR steering committees and conduct legal research and documentation.
- Manage and prevent disputes or litigation.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in New Technology Law, Digital Law, Contract Law, or CAPA.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a lawyer or attorney, with successful management experience and expertise in IT law and digital law.
Education
Master's degree in New Technology Law, Digital Law, Contract Law, or CAPA.
Workplace
This position is based in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, France, within easy reach of Paris.
