Sephora in Balneário Camboriú seeks a Sales Consultant (Beauty). Full-time, on-site role in Balneário Camboriú, Brazil with a focus on client service and product expertise.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage customers proactively, conducting effective needs assessment to recommend products and services.
  • Deliver friendly, expert customer service and product demonstrations, including application of beauty products when appropriate.
  • Achieve individual and store sales objectives through consultative selling and upselling techniques.
  • Maintain store presentation to Sephora visual and merchandising standards, ensuring cleanliness, organization and on-floor availability.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system when trained and assist with transactional accuracy and cash-handling procedures.
  • Support inventory control: participate in stock checks, loss-prevention programmes and accurate product replenishment.
  • Complete assigned operational tasks promptly and adhere to company policies, health & safety and confidentiality requirements.
  • Participate in mandatory training (My Sephora Learning), contribute to onboarding of new hires and pursue ongoing product education.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity, identify in-store improvement opportunities and contribute ideas to the team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous retail experience desirable; direct experience in beauty/cosmetics preferred but not mandatory.
  • Customer service and communication skills with evidence of a client-focused approach.
  • Ability to operate POS and handle transactions when authorised.
  • Willingness to apply products on clients and maintain hygiene and presentation standards.
  • Flexibility in working hours and availability for retail schedules.
  • Respect for company dress code, ethical standards and confidentiality rules.
  • Desirable: proficiency in a foreign language.

Experience

Entry-level role; previous retail or beauty experience is desirable but not required. Candidates should demonstrate customer-facing aptitude and willingness to learn product knowledge and sales techniques.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail or beauty is an advantage; foreign language skills desirable.

The successful candidate will be located in Balneário Camboriú, Santa Catarina, Brazil, with easy access to Florianópolis.
