Sephora seeks a Sales Advisor in Marseille (Les Terrasses du Port) — permanent full‑time (CDI 35h) role advising clients across make‑up, skincare and fragrance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients, assess their needs and provide tailored advice on cosmetics, skincare and fragrances to convert consultations into sales.
  • Drive personal and store sales through active selling, cross‑selling and promotion of Sephora products and services; meet individual and team commercial targets.
  • Create memorable customer experiences by delivering professional make‑up/skincare demonstrations and participating in in‑store events and commercial activations.
  • Maintain boutique presentation: merchandising, stock replenishment, shelf maintenance and visual standards in line with Sephora guidelines.
  • Operate point‑of‑sale systems, process transactions and assist with daily closing procedures while ensuring compliance with brand policies and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong client‑centric orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive and attentive to details that enhance the customer experience.
  • Team player with a commercial mindset and capacity to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
  • Interest in beauty trends, product knowledge across make‑up, skincare and fragrance is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and peak trading periods.

Experience

Entry‑level role; prior retail or beauty experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Candidates demonstrating client interaction or sales experience will be prioritized.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in cosmetics, beauty therapy or retail is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Marseille, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France.
