Sephora Canada — Paid Services Beauty Advisor in London, ON. Full-time hourly role delivering makeup and skincare services at the White Oaks store.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized beauty consultations to assess clients' needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Provide hands-on paid beauty services including professional makeup application and skincare treatments, maintaining high standards of health and hygiene.
- Demonstrate product application techniques and teach clients routines tailored to their preferences and skin type.
- Manage bookings, rebookings and appointment flow for the Beauty Studio to optimize client experience and capacity.
- Remain up to date with beauty trends, brand launches and product assortments to inform recommendations and service offerings.
- Support sales and promotional events by proactively engaging clients and contributing to store sales targets.
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment and represent Sephora's customer experience standards at all times.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years' experience in retail sales or beauty services (makeup/esthetics) preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of current beauty trends and product categories.
- Passion for client service with a consultative sales approach and ability to build client loyalty.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to multitask in a high-traffic retail environment.
- Flexible availability to work peak retail hours, weekends and holidays as required.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform standing work for extended periods.
Skills
Experience
Entry-level to early career: typically 1–3 years of retail sales or hands-on beauty service experience (makeup artist, esthetics, or similar).
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; formal cosmetology, esthetics or makeup artistry training is preferred.
Workplace
This position is based in London, Ontario, Canada, within easy reach of Toronto.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 20.20 to CAD 23.20 per hour.
