Sephora — Merchandising Assistant (Skincare, Apprenticeship) in Neuilly-sur-Seine. 12-month alternance starting Sept 2026; planograms, brand collaboration, project delivery.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Draft and maintain merchandising guidelines for the skincare category and translate strategic direction into operational briefs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create planograms using dedicated merchandising software and validate technical plans for store fixtures and skincare niches.
  • Coordinate and manage projects such as store and country launches, new category or destination rollouts, and merchandising updates.
  • Liaise with creative agencies, display manufacturers (PLV), brand partners and internal teams to ensure alignment and execution quality.
  • Support brands in preparing skincare updates: co-construct guidelines, propose merchandising recommendations and review execution files submitted for print.
  • Conduct regular store visits and in-situ merchandising tests to verify implementation and gather feedback from country teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or holding a Bac+5 level degree (Master's) in Marketing, Merchandising or Business/Commerce school.
  • First professional experience; prior retail experience is a strong plus.
  • Fluent English for daily interactions with multiple countries in the zone.
  • Rigorous, highly organized and capable of prioritizing competing tasks.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach and strong teamwork skills.
  • Genuine interest in the cosmetics and beauty industry.

Experience

Entry-level — candidate should have a first professional experience; retail experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Education

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Master's-level program (Bac+5) in Marketing, Merchandising or Business/Commerce school.

This position is based in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, France, within easy reach of Paris.
