Sephora Huntersville, NC — Licensed Beauty Advisor (full-time). Provide makeup, waxing and beauty services; pay $19.80–$26.00/hr.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional beauty services (makeup application, waxing, false-lash application and other services on Sephora’s Beauty Services menu) while maintaining high hygiene and safety standards.
- Provide personalised consultations to assess client needs, recommend products and techniques, and build long-term client relationships.
- Drive sales and service revenue by rebooking beauty appointments, converting consultations into product purchases, and meeting individual and store targets.
- Remain current on product assortments, trends and techniques to educate clients and colleagues.
- Uphold Sephora operational and brand standards to ensure a safe, welcoming and consistent client experience.
- Contribute positively to store culture by collaborating with peers and supporting an inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
- Active state license to perform waxing, makeup and false-lash application in the state where services will be rendered.
- 1–3 years of experience in beauty services, retail, hospitality or another client-facing environment.
- Demonstrated product knowledge across cosmetics and skincare, and the ability to translate that knowledge into tailored client recommendations.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays; punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Skills
Experience
1–3 years of relevant experience delivering beauty services or working in a retail, hospitality or service environment with direct client interaction.
Education
High school diploma or GED preferred; cosmetology, esthetics or related certification/training and active state licensure required.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 19.80 to USD 26 per hour.
