Sephora is hiring a Lead Cloud Engineer in San Francisco, USA. Join a dynamic team in a role that involves architecting and maintaining cloud infrastructures.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Architect, develop, deploy, and maintain infrastructures spanning public cloud and traditional datacenters.
  • Design, implement, and manage both traditional infrastructure and cloud-based solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability.
  • Analyze user needs and develop software solutions using computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles.
  • Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Five years of progressively responsible experience as an Engineer, Technical Consultant, or a related occupation.

Skills

Expertise in building and releasing engineering of microservices. Proficiency in provisioning, maintaining, and monitoring cloud resources on Azure. Experience with container orchestration and deployments. Skilled in cloud automation with Terraform and Ansible. Proficient in CI/CD implementations through technologies like Jenkins, Git, ArgoCD, and Spinnaker. Competency in Python/Shell scripting for infrastructure automation. Experience with APIGEE and Azure APIM. Knowledge of Docker containers. Experience in monitoring and alerting using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Splunk.

Experience

Five years of progressively responsible experience in engineering or technical consulting roles.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field.

Compensation

$162,000-$201,900 annually.
