Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and design solutions to assess data from multiple sources.
  • Create and maintain Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines to extract data from SFTP servers.
  • Transform data according to business requirements and ingest into Databricks.
  • Develop dynamic SQL Views on top of base delta tables and build reporting dashboards.
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines using ADF and Databricks, ensuring seamless data flow into MySQL databases.
  • Develop applications leveraging Kafka streams and Spark structured streaming for real-time data processing.
  • Design and implement MySQL data models for personalization.
  • Document comprehensive data processes and pipeline configurations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • One year of experience as a Data Engineer or in a related occupation.

Skills

Proficiency in Scala and Spark. Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure. Strong SQL skills. Familiarity with ETL tools and processes. Experience with retail and CRM datasets. UNIX/Linux experience and scripting skills such as Shell, Perl, and Python. Knowledge of APIs for data collection and ingestion. Experience with data integration tools.

Experience

A minimum of one year of experience in data engineering or a related field is required.

Education

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Analytics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $128,400 to $153,250.
