Sephora in Thousand Oaks seeks a Part‑time Beauty Advisor (Flex). Hourly $20.85–$25.54; provide consultations, drive sales, and maintain merchandising.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized beauty consultations and product recommendations tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance; educate clients on application techniques and regimen.
  • Stay current with beauty trends and new product launches to provide relevant, up‑to‑date advice.
  • Drive sales performance by meeting and exceeding sales goals and key performance indicators.
  • Support merchandising, inventory management and daily store presentation to maintain an inviting retail environment.
  • Promote an inclusive, team‑oriented atmosphere and uphold Sephora’s policies to ensure a safe, enjoyable shopping experience.
  • Be punctual and reliable; meet scheduling requirements and be available for peak retail hours (nights, weekends, holidays).

Qualifications

  • Passion for beauty, trends and helping clients feel confident.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and long‑term client relationships.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts and peak retail periods; for Flex scheduling, availability typically ranges 4–14 hours/week.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as required for stock and merchandising tasks.
  • Team player who adapts quickly and learns product knowledge rapidly.
  • Previous retail, hospitality, or client‑facing experience preferred.

Experience
