Sephora — Part-time Beauty Advisor in San Francisco (Stonestown Galleria). Provide personalised consultations, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised beauty consultations and product recommendations that address each client’s needs and preferences.
  • Demonstrate product expertise across makeup, skincare and fragrance to educate and empower clients.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets and key performance indicators through consultative selling.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards, support inventory processes and ensure a clean, welcoming sales floor.
  • Remain current with beauty trends, new product launches and application techniques to provide relevant, up-to-date advice.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative environment that supports teamwork and a positive client experience.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety protocols to ensure a secure and enjoyable shopping environment.
  • Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays to meet peak retail demand.

Qualifications

  • Previous customer-facing experience in retail, hospitality, or a related client-service environment preferred.
  • Passion for beauty, trends and product innovation with a demonstrable interest in makeup, skincare or fragrance.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to build rapport quickly and advise with confidence.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work in a target-driven, collaborative environment.
  • Fast learner with the capability to absorb, retain and share product knowledge.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable availability for the required weekly shifts and peak retail hours.

Experience
