Sephora Sacramento seeks an Asset Protection Partner — full-time loss prevention role at Arden Fair, $23.00–$27.12/hr. Apply to protect assets and ensure store safety.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible floor presence (approximately 75–80% of shift) to deter theft, support client experience and promote a safe environment.
  • Monitor CCTV and use reporting tools to detect, investigate and document inventory losses and suspicious activity.
  • Collaborate with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager to design and implement shrink-reduction and safety initiatives.
  • Respond to incidents and de-escalate conflicts professionally while prioritizing client and employee safety.
  • Complete audits, prepare incident and loss reports, and ensure compliance with asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
  • Represent the company as needed, including providing testimony in legal proceedings.
  • Participate in asset protection meetings and training; support multiple locations on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention.
  • Proven ability to de-escalate conflicts and manage sensitive incidents with professionalism.
  • Familiarity and comfort with CCTV operation and loss-reporting tools.
  • Strong verbal communication, attention to detail and collaborative mindset with store teams.
  • Reliable availability for a flexible retail schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays; punctual attendance.
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to testify in court on behalf of the company if required.

Skills

Experience

1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection or loss prevention with practical experience using CCTV and conducting investigations and audits.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional training or certification in security/loss prevention is a plus.

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 23 to USD 27.12 per hour.
