Sephora Canada is hiring an Asset Protection Partner in Mississauga — full-time loss-prevention role focused on surveillance, investigations and shrinkage control.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct surveillance on the sales floor and monitor CCTV systems to deter, identify and apprehend individuals committing external theft while complying with all applicable laws and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain detailed incident, recovery, audit and accident reports; preserve evidence and provide testimony in court when required.
- Develop and sustain professional relationships with store leadership, district loss prevention managers, local law enforcement, mall security and peer retailers.
- Deliver new-hire and ongoing loss-prevention training to store teams and provide in-the-moment coaching to reduce shrinkage.
- Perform store self-audits, safety inspections and checklists; communicate findings and partner on corrective action plans.
- Assist with inventory preparation and execute shrinkage-prevention initiatives in collaboration with store leadership and district teams.
- Meet required weekly shift commitments and maintain availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and across multiple locations within the market.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of asset protection or loss-prevention experience in a retail environment (3 years preferred).
- Must satisfy and maintain any provincial or local licensing requirements applicable to the role.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interviewing, listening and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to coach effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays and to travel between multiple store locations within the market.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform routine stock-handling tasks; comfortable working in a fragrance-rich retail environment.

Experience
Minimum 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment; 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from CAD 25 to CAD 30 per hour.
