Rolex is seeking a Finishing Operator in Fribourg, Switzerland, to perform polishing and buffing of watch components. Ideal candidates will have experience in watchmaking finishing.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform finishing operations, including polishing and buffing of prepared surfaces.
  • Ensure dimensional and aesthetic quality control of produced components.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in polishing and buffing of watch components is a significant advantage.
  • Modular training in watchmaking, particularly in finishing, is preferred.
  • Possession of a Polisher AFP is an asset.
  • Knowledge of automatic or semi-automatic finishing is beneficial.
  • Excellent visual acuity, remarkable dexterity, precision, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using production software.
  • Autonomous, organized, and a strong team player.
  • Rigorous and respectful of procedures.
  • Availability for shift work (2x8).
  • Willingness to undergo initial training in Geneva for several months before continuing in the canton of Fribourg.

Experience
