Role & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive sourcing and procurement strategies aligned with the company's vision and objectives.
• Design and implement a global quality management system to support worldwide operations.
• Optimize the structure and effectiveness of the quality and purchasing organizations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in sourcing, purchasing, and quality.
• Provide strategic oversight of operational quality assurance across all production sites and supplier networks.
• Drive the global quality organization to establish and maintain robust quality standards across the entire value chain.
• Partner with stakeholders to develop and deploy effective global quality solutions.
• Lead root cause analysis and mitigation efforts for quality-related issues.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable outcomes.
• Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and address issues proactively.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the sourcing, purchasing, and quality teams.
• Oversee daily operations of sourcing, purchasing, and quality functions, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and manage the sourcing, purchasing, and quality budgets.

Qualifications

• Completed technical university degree (Master's/Diploma) or comparable qualification in engineering, quality management, purchasing, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in sourcing/purchasing and quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in both functions.
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective action plans and manage project deliverables.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
