Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and solutions for Finance and Accounting departments across multiple applications and landscapes.
  • Analyze business support questions and issues, providing solutions or escalating to the next team as necessary.
  • Coordinate testing and collaborate with global IT support teams.
  • Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Participate in SAP releases, including content review for regional implications and coordination with key users.
  • Coordinate and automate testing for projects and releases.
  • Participate in internal control system reviews to ensure regional alignment with company policy.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve processes and create efficiencies.
  • Submit and support enhancement requests through implementation.
  • Document detailed support activities and provide proactive support to the Finance team.

Qualifications

  • College education or technical school background.
  • 3+ years of SAP Finance/Accounting experience in an integrated SAP environment.

Skills

Understanding of SAP Finance modules, credit card reconciliation systems, and accounting processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Customer-focused with strong problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proven ability to collaborate with customers and define issues with flexibility. Detail-oriented with a working knowledge of project management tasks. Ability to work in a diverse, dynamic environment and collaborate effectively across teams. Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both technical and functional audiences.

Experience

3+ years of SAP Finance/Accounting experience in an integrated SAP environment.

Education

College education or technical school background.

Workplace

This position is based in Shelton, Connecticut, USA, within easy reach of New York City.
