Renata AG in Itingen, Switzerland, seeks an experienced Strategic Buyer to optimize procurement processes and manage supplier relationships in the luxury fashion industry.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing strategies to optimize procurement processes.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Analyze market trends to forecast procurement needs and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and reliability of goods and services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in strategic procurement within the luxury fashion industry.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in market analysis and supplier relationship management.

Skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably within the luxury fashion sector.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
