Patek Philippe — Geneva: Production Scheduler to manage work‑order launches, shop‑floor flows and subcontracting for the Service Client International division.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Create and launch Work Orders (Ordres de Service / OF) across all workshops and ensure timely progression of shop‑floor operations.
  • Monitor and follow up on blocked work orders, identify root causes and coordinate remedial actions with Planning and workshop leads.
  • Translate system priorities into visual management boards and communicate priorities during operational meetings (PPOQM).
  • Track manufacturing lead times for each operation and maintain up‑to‑date schedules and status reports.
  • Provide operational guidance to workshop managers on priorities during daily/operational review sessions.
  • Handle administrative treatment of returned parts (registration, routing for rework, launching replacement OFs) in collaboration with support functions.
  • Prepare and manage stock activities: order preparation, stock control, product provisioning for internal and external processes, and update information systems.
  • Ensure availability of consumables required for workshop activities.
  • Manage operational subcontracting flows: prepare orders, oversee physical and administrative flows, arrange reception/dispatch and support related invoicing.
  • Define, create and monitor KPIs for the production flow, analyse flow issues and propose continuous improvement actions; participate in project teams as required.
  • Maintain high‑quality communication and support for internal and external partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's level qualification in Production Management (HES/HEG) or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years' experience in production management or scheduling within the watchmaking industry.
  • Solid knowledge of horology production processes and workshop organisation.
  • High proficiency with MS Office and practical experience with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to coordinate across functions and with external subcontractors.

Experience
