Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the conception to implementation of new counter builds or refurbishments, ensuring adherence to brand image and merchandising guidelines.
- Design creative points of sale for flagship and A store counters to enhance brand visibility.
- Negotiate store terms and conditions to uphold brand image integrity.
- Coordinate with central Merchandising in Paris, stores, and suppliers to meet project deadlines and expectations.
- Validate designs and scale models with Central Merchandising.
- Provide project plans, technical specifications, and designs for cost estimation.
- Collaborate with local suppliers to ensure design accuracy and quality production, providing feedback post-installation.
- Manage a team of two Retail Designers, overseeing various store categories and divisions.
- Assist with the development of event and promotion sites, working with the Promotions and Events Merchandiser.
- Prepare plans and 3D models for promotional and event sites.
- Support the counter VM manager with counter plans and soft merchandise coordination.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years in a store design role with an architectural or retail design background.
- Experience in management and team leadership.
- Familiarity with the cosmetic market is advantageous.
- Proficiency in French is beneficial but not required.
