Join Moët Hennessy in Tokyo as a People Services Senior Specialist, Payroll and Tax. Lead payroll operations across APAC, ensuring precision and compliance in a dynamic luxury environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end-to-end payroll and tax operations across 14 APAC countries, ensuring precision and timeliness.
  • Administer leave systems, updating configurations in line with policy changes.
  • Oversee vendor management, enhancing service quality.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within payroll processes.
  • Address compliance queries from audits or statutory bodies, maintaining high standards.
  • Participate in projects aimed at optimizing service delivery through automation and lean concepts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six years of experience in payroll operations, particularly in Japan and ideally in Korea and China.
  • Proficiency in Japanese and English, with additional languages such as Korean and Chinese being advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll and tax regulations in APAC countries.

Skills

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. Proactive and inquisitive nature, with a focus on continuous improvement. Familiarity with SuccessFactors, Concur, and SAP is beneficial.

Experience

A minimum of six years in payroll operations, with specific expertise in Japan and ideally in other APAC markets such as Korea and China.
