Moët Hennessy seeks an Off-Trade & E-Business Sales Director in London, UK. Lead sales strategy and team across multiple channels in the luxury wines and spirits sector.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Off-Trade Sales team across various channels including Grocery, Specialists & Fine Wine Merchants, Cash & Carry, and Convenience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to define channel strategies, portfolio focus, pricing, and distribution targets.
  • Set sales budgets and qualitative and quantitative KPIs.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report business performance by customer and brand versus budget, recommending plan revisions as necessary.
  • Deliver exceptional brand activations and executions.
  • Develop and nurture empowered teams with a growth and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment promoting excellence and accountability.
  • Lead and support the development of direct reports and the wider Off-Trade team.
  • Support teams in annual negotiations and Joint Business Planning.
  • Ensure team operations comply with company policies and guidelines.
  • Develop strong networks and relationships with trade customers at senior management levels.
  • Represent Moët Hennessy at industry events and foster relationships with regional and global teams.
  • Present business updates to European and Global senior management.
  • Conduct regular trade visits to support brand strategies and commercial plans.
  • Ensure compliance with Competition Law.

Qualifications

  • WSET certificate preferred but not essential.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in another language is advantageous.
  • Full driving license.

Skills

Strong leadership and relationship-building skills. High level of drive, energy, and passion. Motivated and results-driven. Deep knowledge of the UK Wines & Spirits industry and UK off-trade. Experience in leading complex and large-scale customer negotiations. Strong knowledge of Category Management and insight-based selling. Exposure to premium/luxury brands.

Experience

Minimum of 10 years in Blue Chip FMCG sales team leadership, with experience across Grocery, E-Business, Specialist, and Cash & Carry channels.
