Michael Kors is hiring a Part-time Key Holder (32h) at York Designer Outlet — lead the sales floor, coach the team and deliver exceptional client service.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support across the store as an active member of the Jet Set team and deputise for management on shift.
- Maintain strong floor presence: lead by example in delivering sales, visual standards and client experience.
- Coach, inspire and develop store colleagues to create a culture of performance, accountability and consistent service delivery.
- Collaborate with store management to implement sales strategies and achieve performance targets.
- Maintain and expand client relationships using all available clientelling apps and tools to drive retention and repeat business.
- Ensure compliance with loss prevention procedures and Health & Safety guidelines.
- Uphold the brand’s image and grooming standards in line with Jet Set policy.
- Use company communication platforms effectively and take relevant follow-up actions.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Proven ability to meet the commitment of a 32-hour part-time schedule, including weekend and peak-period availability.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Demonstrable leadership or supervisory capability with the ability to coach and motivate retail teams.
- High standards of personal presentation aligned with brand grooming policies.
Skills
Experience
Ideally 2+ years’ retail experience, preferably within luxury or premium fashion, with prior responsibility for opening/closing shifts, keyholding or supervising a sales team.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent) preferred; vocational retail or customer service qualifications are an advantage.

The role is situated in York, North Yorkshire, UK — conveniently close to Leeds.
