Role & Responsibilities

  • Verify and post accounts payable invoices through 3-way matching.
  • Check and post various expenses including general, marketing, and travel expenses.
  • Register and maintain vendor information.
  • Prepare vendor account reconciliations and execute payment proposals within deadlines.
  • Post journal entries and support financial statement preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation of audit and tax return working files.
  • Support internal and external audit processes and tax audits.
  • Maintain internal intranet knowledge with stakeholders.
  • Perform other ad-hoc finance tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance or accounting within a corporation.

Skills

Basic accounting knowledge, especially in 3-way matching. Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office. Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines. Experience with SAP is advantageous. Fluency in Japanese and basic English communication skills. TOEIC score over 800.

Experience

Candidates should possess approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting roles.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
