Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in a one-year professional training program in leatherworking through an apprenticeship contract.
  • Receive theoretical and practical instruction at Les Compagnons du Devoir and Tour de France in Pantin, complemented by Italian language courses and practical training at Louis Vuitton workshops.
  • Attend Master Classes organized by the Institut des Métiers d'Excellence LVMH, including lectures on luxury fundamentals, workshops, and interactions with industry experts.
  • Work towards obtaining the CAP Maroquinerie, a diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education, and the Brevet d’Excellence from the Institut ME.
  • Enhance employability in the leatherworking sector.

Qualifications

  • Candidates under 25 must have at least a Baccalauréat.
  • Candidates 25 and older must hold a CAP, BEP, or equivalent level IV diploma registered with the RNCP.
  • Registration as a job seeker with Pôle Emploi or receipt of specific social benefits is required for candidates over 25.

Skills

Strong visual acuity, including color differentiation. Manual dexterity and precision. Patience, curiosity, and open-mindedness. Logical and methodical approach. High concentration ability.

Experience

No prior experience required; beginners are welcome.

Education

Minimum Baccalauréat for candidates under 25; CAP or equivalent for candidates 25 and older.
