Join LVMH Fragrance Brands in Beauvais, France as a Transport and Customs Manager. Manage import-export operations and ensure compliance with customs regulations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage all operations related to the import and export of goods, including planning, organizing, and optimizing national and international transport from the distribution center.
  • Establish and manage shipment documentation and resolve any transport or customs-related issues.
  • Coordinate international transport with purchasing, supply chain services, freight forwarders, and suppliers, ensuring stock continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including monitoring customs clearance and controlling import and export declarations.
  • Determine tariff classifications and prepare monthly intra-community declarations.
  • Update various customs documents and manage disputes and returns.
  • Analyze claims and provide appropriate solutions to clients, ensuring the accuracy of contentious files with insurers.
  • Handle the return process from client request to physical product return.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Dynamic, rigorous, and organized with the ability to take initiative. Proficiency in English. Advanced knowledge of computer tools: WORD, EXCEL, and SAP. Strong understanding of customs regulations and import-export procedures. Familiarity with ADR, IMDG, and IATA regulations. Expertise in Incoterms.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in transport and customs management or a related field.

The successful candidate will be located in Beauvais, Hauts-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
