LVMH Fragrance Brands in Beauvais, France, seeks a Transport and Customs Manager to oversee import-export operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all import and export operations for merchandise, ensuring efficient planning, organization, and optimization of national and international transport from the distribution center.
  • Establish and manage documentation related to shipments and resolve any transport or customs-related issues.
  • Plan, organize, and optimize international transport in collaboration with purchasing, supply chain, freight forwarders, and suppliers, ensuring urgent flows are managed to prevent stock shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including monitoring customs clearance, controlling import and export declarations, determining tariff classifications, and preparing monthly intra-community declarations.
  • Update various customs documents and manage disputes and returns by analyzing claims and providing appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Ensure the accuracy of contentious files with the insurer and manage the return of goods from client requests to physical product returns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Dynamic, rigorous, and organized with the ability to take initiative. Proficiency in English. Advanced computer skills, including WORD, EXCEL, and SAP. Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import-export procedures. Familiarity with ADR, IMDG, IATA regulations. Expertise in Incoterms.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in transport and customs management or a related field.

The successful candidate will be located in Beauvais, Hauts-de-France, France.
