Role & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations related to the import and export of goods, ensuring efficient planning, organization, and optimization of national and international transport from the distribution center.
  • Establish and manage documentation for shipments and resolve any transport or customs-related issues.
  • Coordinate international transport in collaboration with procurement, freight forwarders, and suppliers, monitoring flows to prevent stock shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, including monitoring customs clearance, controlling import and export declarations, determining tariff classifications, and preparing monthly intra-community declarations.
  • Update various customs documents and manage disputes and returns by analyzing claims and providing appropriate solutions to clients.
  • Ensure the accuracy of contentious case files with the insurer and manage the return process from client request to physical product return.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in transport and customs management.

Skills

Dynamic, rigorous, and organized with the ability to take initiative. Proficiency in English. Expertise in computer tools: WORD, EXCEL, and SAP. Strong knowledge of customs regulations and import-export procedures. Familiarity with ADR, IMDG, IATA regulations. Mastery of Incoterms.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in transport and customs management.
