Join Louis Vuitton in Paris as a Women's Ready-to-Wear Fabric Buyer. Located in the heart of Paris, this role offers a dynamic work environment in the luxury fashion industry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and track fabric orders with suppliers from validation to delivery.
- Oversee the reception and logistics of deliveries and arrivals.
- Reference and technically evaluate fabrics, including creating and updating fabric sheets.
- Collaborate closely with the Studio and development teams to meet material needs.
- Enter and update data in PLM, including technical sheets and photo databases.
- Contribute to fabric industrialization and support teams in technical validation.
- Participate in archiving materials at the end of collections and ensure database organization.
- Handle daily administrative tasks related to purchasing and production activities.
- Manage multiple deadlines across various capsules and ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare regular reports and monitor allocated budget.
Qualifications
- Degree from a business school, fashion school, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or production management in the textile sector.
- Technical knowledge of fabrics is recommended; product development experience is a plus.
