Join a prestigious fashion brand in Tokyo as a Supply Chain Assistant Planning Manager. Requires 5 years of experience, fluency in Japanese and English, and strong analytical skills.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to incorporate promotional activities and new product launches into demand planning.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Identify slow-moving and obsolete inventory and recommend actions to minimize excess stock.
  • Coordinate with production teams to develop and maintain production schedules.
  • Ensure that production plans align with demand forecasts and inventory targets.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain activities.
  • Support the implementation of process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Work closely with other departments, including Merchandising, procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment of activities.
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or a similar role such as sales planning or inventory planning.
  • Fluent business level of Japanese and English is required.
  • Candidates are required to submit their resumes in both Japanese and English.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in analytic tools such as Excel and Power BI. Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain planning or a related field.
