Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Metal Parts Developer in material research and sourcing.
  • Understand stylist and designer needs during creation phases and propose technical solutions.
  • Prepare and engage in development stages, ensuring feasibility and quality of new materials.
  • Launch and monitor sample production.
  • Assist sites in sourcing materials for product prototypes.
  • Formalize design needs and draft specifications considering usage.
  • Analyze technical risks and implement mitigation actions.
  • Define, refine, and validate material designs with suppliers.
  • Validate acceptance criteria and production processes.
  • Ensure material quality through laboratory performance analysis and aesthetic conformity.
  • Support suppliers in resolving industrialization issues and production startup.
  • Manage technical data, including product sheets and defect logs.
  • Lead a project focused on technical or quality improvement.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering school, possibly with a postgraduate degree in fashion management or innovation.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of Italian is advantageous.

Strong project management capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Competence in technical drawing and reading plans. Excellent interpersonal skills. Curiosity, rigor, and adaptability. Environmental consciousness.

Entry-level position suitable for students or recent graduates.
