Join Louis Vuitton in New York as a Merchandising Assistant for Women's Shoes. This full-time role offers competitive compensation and benefits in a dynamic luxury fashion environment.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support overarching Women’s Shoes priorities and launches throughout the LVA Zone.
  • Collaborate with regional, store, and cross-functional partners to execute strategic initiatives under the guidance of the Senior Manager.
  • Prepare launch plans, modelarios, lookbooks, and recaps for new product launches.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis, focusing on trends, pricing, actions, and events.
  • Analyze sales at SKU/store level to maximize sell-through by proposing stock pushes and rebalancing at store/SKU level.
  • Partner with Paris to support and grow the Zone business with product and stock requests.
  • Coordinate with supply chain on product flows to ensure stores are well-stocked for peak selling periods and events.
  • Prepare for and support events and caravans, creating retail and client-facing tools, entering orders during events, and initiating stock rebalances.
  • Participate in Paris buying sessions, inputting orders, sizing, and creating recaps.
  • Perform general administrative tasks including scheduling meetings and shipping samples/store tools.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional experience in corporate merchandising/buying with a focus on Women's Shoes.
  • Ability to influence across the organization with sophisticated product allocation and product knowledge.

Skills

Strong product sensibility and knowledge of the competitive landscape. Excellent analytical skills with high expertise in Excel. Ability to synthesize large data sets and prioritize key opportunities. Strong communication skills and client experience focus. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage and produce high-quality analytical deliverables. Enthusiastic team player with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in corporate merchandising or buying, specifically within Women's Shoes.

This position is based in New York, New York, USA, within easy reach of New York.

Compensation

Salary range of USD $30.00-32.00 hourly plus the opportunity for a bonus.
