Role & Responsibilities

  • Propose and implement improvement actions on existing and new production lines, including critical analysis of current processes, simplification and optimization of operational modes, and reorganization of layouts.
  • Reduce inventory and work-in-progress while enhancing product quality and workstation ergonomics.
  • Develop and disseminate best practices and necessary operator training for change management.
  • Lead field projects to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and ergonomics using Lean methodologies such as risk analysis, problem-solving, 5S, SMED, PDCA, and FMEA.
  • Quantify potential gains, plan resource allocation, manage schedules, and coordinate cross-functional teams including production, development, and maintenance.
  • Participate in the industrialization of new products by designing optimal operational ranges, estimating operational times, and overseeing the development of outsourced tooling.
  • Support production ramp-up.

Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or related field, ranging from Level 5 (BTS, DUT) to Level 7 (Master's, engineering school).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in methods or continuous improvement within an industrial setting.

Skills

Proficiency in workshop equipment and tools. Mastery of company processes and logistics chain. Strong analytical skills and methodological rigor. Critical thinking and adaptability. Interest in leather and leather goods industry.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years in methods or continuous improvement in an industrial environment.

Education

Degree in engineering or related field (BTS, DUT, Master's, or engineering school).

Workplace

The successful candidate will be located in Asnières-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
