Role & Responsibilities
- Propose and implement improvement actions on existing and new production lines, including critical analysis of current processes, simplification and optimization of operational modes, and reorganization of layouts.
- Reduce inventory and work-in-progress while enhancing product quality and workstation ergonomics.
- Develop and disseminate best practices and necessary operator training for change management.
- Lead field projects to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and ergonomics using Lean methodologies such as risk analysis, problem-solving, 5S, SMED, PDCA, and FMEA.
- Quantify potential gains, plan resource allocation, manage schedules, and coordinate cross-functional teams including production, development, and maintenance.
- Participate in the industrialization of new products by designing optimal operational ranges, estimating operational times, and overseeing the development of outsourced tooling.
- Support production ramp-up.
Qualifications
- Degree in engineering or related field, ranging from Level 5 (BTS, DUT) to Level 7 (Master's, engineering school).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in methods or continuous improvement within an industrial setting.
